What does the District of Columbia do to support equality in the workplace? How does the District address employment discrimination? Please join us on May 15th for a presentation and discussion on workplace equality in the District of Columbia starting at 7:00 PM at The DC Center, 1111 14th Street NW, Suite 350.Our presenters are Gustavo Velasquez from the DC Office of Human Rights and Christopher Dyer from the DC Office of GLBT Affairs. Sponsored by The DC Center in partnership with the Office of LGBT Affairs and the Office of Human Rights. Co-sponsors include the DC Coalition, the Gertrude Stein Democratic Club, and the Gay and Lesbian Activists Alliance.
The event is part of the 2nd National Day of Action for Workplace Equality, sponsored by Lambda Legal. It is focused on, but not limited to, ending workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity & expression, and HIV status. Everyone is welcome to participate.
