Members of AQUA DC will once again participate in the DC Dragon Boat Festival taking place May 17th through 18th at Thompson’s Boat Center in Georgetown. Four boats painted to resemble scales in hues of green, red, blue and yellow sporting dragon heads and tails of blue, red and gold will line up to sprint over distances of 250 and 500 meters. AQUA's 'Out 2 Paddle' team will be competing against other local community groups and teams from the Metropolitan Washington, DC area.
